Affinity Auto is fully licensed by the British Columbia Vehicles Sales Authority to offer vehicles for sale on consignment. Consignment sales can be tailored in many ways, but the basic structure is always as follows:

1. Vehicle title and ownership remain in the client’s name while the vehicle is offered for sale
2. A consignment agreement is executed which details the terms and conditions agreed to between the dealer and the client
3. The vehicle is prepared for sale and marketed to the public
4. When the vehicle sells, the dealer pays the client as per the terms of the consignment agreement and title is transferred to the dealer
5. The dealer completes the transaction with the purchaser

At Affinity Auto, it is always our preference to own the vehicles in our inventory either by purchasing them outright or by accepting them as trade-ins; however, consignment can be a useful tool in certain circumstances. Please contact us for details.
